Descripción de la oferta

We are looking for an experienced Design Leader with a strong background in train design (interiors and exteriors) to lead a high-impact international project. The selected candidate will be responsible for design conceptualization and development, as well as coordination between the client, the engineering team, and the remote design team.

Confidentiality: Company identity and project site will be disclosed in later stages of the selection process.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the complete design of a train (either interior or exterior), from initial briefing to final design proposal.
  • Prepare visual briefings with a strategic focus, including:
    • Benchmarking
    • Trends and design inspiration
    • Conceptual design rationale
  • Create conceptual and refined sketches (manual/digital)
  • Build high-quality 3D models in Rhinoceros
  • Produce high-end renderings using Vray or Keyshot, with Photoshop post-production
  • Develop strong visual presentations to support design proposals
  • Act as liaison with the client on-site to gather needs and project insights
  • Organize and communicate this input effectively to the remote design team
  • Join regular follow-up meetings with both client and technical team
  • Supervise design progress and ensure consistency with the initial brief

Requisitos

 

  • Proven experience in train design (interiors and exteriors)
  • Proficiency in: Rhinoceros, Photoshop, Vray/Keyshot
  • Strong creative and strategic thinking for concept generation and design justification
  • Skilled in preparing impactful visual presentations
  • Leadership and coordination abilities
  • Availability to work on‑site in project’s site for up to 4 months
  • Flexibility to adapt to layout and design changes during the development process
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary and international teams
  • Advanced English level (C1 or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of other languages will be considered a plus

Conditions

  • Contract until the end of the project, with the possibility of future collaborations
